The "westside" TeNgaio's.

The TeNgaio cousins: Ethan, Austin, Kai, Kenzi, Madeline, and Autumn.

Isabelle feeling the love from Madi.

Austin feels the love from all of his cousins

The entire TeNgaio clan flocked to the parents house last Saturday to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We use it as an excuse to get together, plus, to eat some righteous food! Everyone prepares an Asian dish and we converge to devour as much sodium as possible. Although all the dishes were unreal, my brother Jake takes the prize, (and now is expected to bring these every year), for his killer Shumai. They are like won-ton but steamed, very ono-licious my friends. Ethan and Madeline love the Kung Hei Fat Choi ritual too due to the fact they get to see their cousins from Soda Springs/Pocatello. Kudos to Austin for being such an awesome BIG cousin to all of his smaller ones!

Madeline's ear tube surgery went well the previous week, she is definitely a trooper. She only cried a little bit afterwards but was back to being miss jolly by that afternoon. It kind of sucks to see your kids when they are that little go into surgery of any kind but our ear doctor is pretty damn good. We'll have to wait and see if she'll need her tonsils out like her big brother did last year (that sucked!).

Ethan just finished a 6 week session of basketball. He doesn't seem too excited about it, he likes to kick the basketball more than dribble but he got the hang of it by the end. Next up is pee-wee baseball this sumer. ET also has his first tooth that is ready to fall out of his mouth. He thinks it's pretty cool to be able to wiggle it with his tongue. Ahh, the joy of an-almost 5 year old.
